Technical Area Lead, Aeronautics
Easter Wang is the Technical Area Lead of the NAMS Aeronautics team and has supported NASA Ames Aeronautics projects since 2003. Her roles include Project Analyst, Systems Engineer, and Team Lead with demonstrated experience on Air Traffic Management (ATM) research and development projects, including NASA's Airspace Technology Demonstrations Project (ATD-1 terminal sequencing and spacing, ATD-2 integrated arrival, departure, surface operations) and Air Mobility Pathfinders Project (Advanced Air Mobility National Campaign). She is responsible for coordination of USRA aeronautics tasks, management of scientific and technical staff, and establishing and maintaining good communications with NASA stakeholders. She brings expertise in project planning and scheduling, requirements development, software development and integration for simulation systems, and team management of software engineers and researchers. Easter received a BS degree in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
